This policy explains what information Yoke Capital LLC (“Yoke Capital,” “we,” “us”) collects through yokecap.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you send an inquiry through the contact form, we receive your first and last name, email address, the area you’re interested in, whether you’re an accredited investor, and any message you write. When you request our buyer profile from an episode page, we receive the same details along with the page you requested it from. If you email us directly, we receive whatever your email contains.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. These are used to operate and secure the site.
We don’t use analytics or advertising trackers, and yokecap.com doesn’t set cookies of its own.
Embedded videos
Episode pages show a preview image served from our own domain. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video plays through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to that playback.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and continue the conversation you started
- To send you the document you requested
- To keep a record of the people we’ve spoken with, so we can follow up when an opportunity is relevant to you
- To keep the site running, secure, and free of abuse
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers who handle information on our behalf and only to provide their service to us:
- Formspree, which receives and stores form submissions
- Resend, which delivers the buyer profile email
- Vercel, which hosts the website
- Google Workspace, which hosts our email
We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for as long as they’re useful to the relationship, or until you ask us to delete them, unless we need to retain them longer to meet a legal obligation.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@yokecap.com. If you’d rather we didn’t contact you again, say so in reply to any email from us and we’ll stop.
Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to the information we receive. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
